Dachshunds just don’t fit standard sizes of pretty much anything…even E-collars. My Bamboo could still lick his wounds even with it on. So the cone of shame was briefly lived. He now sports what I call the donut, which basically looks like my boy is ready for a long airplane flight with his trusty neck pillow.
Oh and by the way….if your dog has to take steroids….he’ll drink a lot of water…A LOT…so what comes in must come…well you get the idea. That was especially fun since the vet did not tell me this information till after the fact….oh piddle sticks!
